Kelsey is an artist, community builder, and advocate who believes that our greatest impact comes from how we connect and care for one another. Whether she’s leading the band, diving into a restoration project, or hanging out with her husband and pups, her life is guided by a deep service mindset and a passion for fostering creativity in everyone she meets. Kelsey sees the world exactly how it is—heavy heartaches and all—but she also possess a relentless vision for what it could be, choosing to dedicate her energy to bringing people together and working toward the greater good.

bass, vocals
Bringing her paradoxes to Chicago from the south, Anna isn’t quite sure yet whether she’s midwestern, southern, or a little of both. She’s a deep feeler with a love for languages & cultures, maj7 chords, and advocating for people stuck in cultural spaces they don’t vibe with. When she’s not working a regular desk job, she spends lots of time rock climbing, playing bass, and loving on her amazing partner and cats (and still claims to not be a cat person).
eric
lead guitar, vocals
Eric is a guitarist originally from Indianapolis, though he’s lived in Colorado, Texas, and Minnesota. Eric started playing guitar because of guitar hero in the 5th grade. He also plays the slide guitar, banjo, harmonica, and occasionally sings. Eric’s favorite artists are Animal Collective, The Beach Boys, Billy Strings, Blink-182, Death Grips, John Fahey, and Modest Mouse just to name a few. His favorite guitarist is Frank Zappa. Eric once rapped in front of a crowd of hundreds of German high schoolers. Few of them understood what he said. He still raps from time to time, much to his wife’s chagrin. Eric made a solo album a couple years back mostly for his wife and makes about $0.60 a month off of it mostly because he did a cover of “Tears in Heaven” and people seem to be mixing him up with Eric Clapton, especially in Indonesia for some reason:

Avid lover of balanced books, heavy weights on a squat rack, and all things BTS (borahaeeee), K is constantly inspired by her fellow members in TFW and lives for being deep in the pocket with the band supporting every melody and hook. K is forever thankful for community board postings that have brought her directly to being part of TFW.
Adam
drums
Adam has been behind the drums for decades and loves playing music that gets people dancing and having a good time. Whether it’s a local festival, community event, or a night out with friends, he enjoys bringing energy and fun to every performance. When he’s not behind the drums, you’ll find him spending time with his family. His love of music, combined with his down-to-earth personality, helps make every performance feel authentic and fun.
